My Therapy Methods
Behandlung mit
medizinischem Cannabis
Medicinal cannabis has been prescribed in Germany in the form of flowers, extracts and capsules since 2017. Recent studies have shown that use of medicinal cannabis can have a positive effect on the course of illnesses and alleviate serious symptoms.
Many patients wish to not have to take any tablets at all or at least fewer tablets every day. Some don’t want to be dependent on medication that is pharmaceutically manufactured from chemical substances. I am happy to respect this wish.
From over 100 strains of medicinal cannabis available in german pharmacies, I select flowers, extracts and capsules according to composition of terpenes and current studies always considering how they agree with the patient.
I currently treat patients with the following diagnoses:
• ADHD
• PTSD
• Depression
• Asperger's syndrome
• Anxiety disorder
• Sleep disorder
• Chronic Pain Syndrome
• Migraine
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Osteoarthritis
• Multiple sclerosis
• Epilepsy
• Chronic inflammatory bowel disease
• Irritable bowel syndrome
• Endometriosis
• Spasticity

I am happy to provide you with comprehensive advice on your individual health situation.
Acupuncture and Moxa – Treatment with Traditional Japanese Medicine
Traditional Japanese Medicine (TJM) is a centuries-old healing system based on a deep understanding of the natural harmony of body, mind and environment. Its roots go back to ancient times and were shaped by Chinese influences, particularly Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Nevertheless, over the centuries TJM has developed into an independent discipline with specific diagnostic and treatment methods.
Many people use it as a complementary or alternative form of therapy, especially for chronic illnesses, stress management and preventative health promotion. Its holistic approach helps people not only to alleviate symptoms of illness, but also to sustainably improve their own quality of life.
Therapy Methods
Although TJM and TCM have many similarities, there are some key differences and advantages of TJM:
• Gentler acupuncture techniques
Japanese acupuncture often uses thinner needles and gentler stimulation, which can make the treatment more comfortable for sensitive patients.
• Abdominal diagnosis (Hara diagnosis)
A unique diagnostic approach in TJM that provides valuable clues to energetic imbalances and is less common in TCM.
• More individual herbal therapy
Japanese herbal therapy (Kampo) is often more standardized than Chinese herbal therapy, allowing for more precise dosing and easier application.
• More focus on manual techniques
While TCM focuses more on acupuncture and herbal therapy, TJM more often integrates techniques such as shiatsu and specific forms of massage to support healing.
• Pragmatic and minimalist approach
TJM tends to be simpler and more efficient to use as it often uses fewer needles or a reduced number of herbs.

Placing the patient at the center of attention.
About me
I was fascinated by Japanese culture from an early age, so I decided to study business administration and Japanese studies. In 2008, I spent a year in Japan, working at Mitsubishi Fuso and deepening my language studies. But it wasn't just the language that captivated me - it was my encounter with traditional Japanese medicine that touched something inside me. This gentle, holistic healing method never left me alone.
Since 2008, I have been returning to Japan on a regular basis, spending long periods there and learning the art of acupuncture and traditional healing methods first hand. But my thirst for knowledge continued: in 2010, I began studying medicine, which initially led me into anesthesia. There, I realized that many patients with chronic pain often have only limited options available to them.
My work as a doctor in the hospital showed me that purely conservative or surgical treatments are not enough for many patients. Medications do not always work reliably or are associated with side effects, so that therapies are often discontinued. In addition, many people want an alternative to pharmaceutically manufactured preparations or want to reduce the use of medication. I respect this wish - and offer treatment approaches that go beyond conventional medicine.
So I opened my own practice for holistic pain therapy. My specialty: combining modern medicine with proven complementary methods, especially cannabis therapy and traditional Japanese medicine – always with the same aim:
Every patient is unique and deserves time, understanding and tailored treatment. I believe in gentle healing methods, in the power of body and mind - and in forms of therapy that not only alleviate symptoms but enable healing on the deepest level.

Treatment costs
This is a purely private practice for privately insured patients and self-payers. You can also book an appointment as a person with statutory insurance. In this case, you must cover the treatment costs yourself (self-payer service). As a privately insured person, you can submit the invoices for our treatments to your private health insurance company and receive reimbursement for the portion to which you are contractually entitled. Depending on the time required, I charge according to GoÄ.
We advise you to check in advance with your private health insurance provider whether they will cover the costs.
